I started this site to take the time to write and share things not just on social media.

I write on topics and experiences I find interesting.
I write because organizing my thoughts can be hard.
Hopefully you find the effort worth it.

I started my career in computer science in the 90’s, installing software on the computers at my elementary school library in grade 6. I eventually move from software installer to software engineer in 1999 when I bought “HTML For Dummies” to protect my family from the Y2K threat. Not the best choice, but it was a good choice for building websites for my Counter Strike clan in Microsoft FrontPage. Eventually I bought my first O’Reilly textbook on PHP and never looked back. After over two decades of writing software, helping build companies, and using spaces when I should have used tabs - I left it all behind so I could start this blog. Not really, I still have a job, and that work influences a lot of the content I write about.
